Omega Leo Club Waknaghat organized a blood donation camp at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) on 8th October 2015.
Blood Donation is an annual practice at the college. However, this time what made this event special was the all time high number of donors which resulted in 234 units of blood being collected.
Using the university’s auditorium as the campsite, event ended up on a high note. Having full-fledged support of university’s administration, the donors even got the attendance for the classes, which they had missed because of this noble work.
The blood collected will be sent to IGMC, Shimla and both, donors as well as organizers, hope that they will be able to extend help or saves someone’s life by doing their bit for society.
