BIT, Ranchi organizes AICTE sponsored quality improvement programme

Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Birla Institute of Technology, has been organizing the Quality Improvement Programme for last six years. QIP 2013 would be seventh in this series.

This year BIT, Ranchi has been organizing QIP on Systematic Approaches to Rational Drug Designing for Discovery and Development of Medicinal started from June 25 to July 8, 2013.

This program will provide a platform for sharing expertise on the important therapeutic areas such as anticancer, antiviral, metabolic disorders, neurodegenerative disorders etc. The program would cover most of the aspects of drug designing and discovery through series of lectures and practical hands on training sessions, which include introductory aspects of drug designing and discovery, structure and ligand based drug designing approaches, virtual screening, molecular modeling, combinatorial synthesis, drug development through high throughput techniques etc.
