BIT Mesra Ph. D admissions 2022 have been announced by the Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra. The applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to full-time/part-time Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D) programme (Session spring 2022) offered at various departments at the Institute.
The candidate must fulfil the eligibility criteria before applying for the programme, i.e. the candidate must hold the required degree or equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline. The applicants are advised to go through the detailed eligibility criteria additionally for each department.

Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate must hold an M.Phil./Master’s degree in Technology/ Engineering/ Pharmacy/ Management/ Architecture/ or equivalent, with at least 60% aggregate marks in their Master’s (for general category) and 55% for SC/ST and full-time sponsored candidates with at least three years of professional experience.
OR
The candidate must have possessed an M. Phil/Master’s degree in Science/ Humanities with at least 55% aggregate marks at Master’s level (for general category) and 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST full-time sponsored candidates with at least three years of professional experience.
The applicant must hold any of the above-mentioned degree which should have been obtained from a recognised university or college or institute.
The candidates holding B. Tech /B.E /B. Sc Engg /B. Arch/B. Pharm/M.B.B.S with a minimum of 70% aggregate marks (for general category) and 55% marks for SC/ST and full-time sponsored candidates with at least three years of professional experience can also apply.
