Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra organizes short term course in July

Under the aegis of National Mission on Power Electronics Technology, Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra will organize a short term course on “Power Converter and Applications” between July 4-6, 2013.

The aim of the short term course is to bring together practicing engineers, researchers, academicians and manufacturers to interact and upgrade knowledge on present status and future prospects of applications of power electronics in diverse fields.
Objective of this course is to create a platform for professional deliberations on power converter technologies and to provide exposure on innovative trends of power electronics operation & control to educators and practicing engineers.

This event is open for Faculty members of engineering colleges, PG students, research scholars and practicing engineers with active interest. Prominent speakers from IISc, BIT and other elite institutes as well as professionals from industries will deliver their speech in this event.

Last date for registration was June 5, 2013.

Registration fee for short term course on Power Converter and Applications:

• Rs.2, 000.00 for faculty members from Universities/ institutes

• Rs.4, 000.00 for members from industry

• Rs.1, 000.00 for students/research scholars

Payment required to be made strictly by bank draft, drawn in favour of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, payable at Ranchi.
