Bharath University Engineering Entrance Exam (BEEE 2012): Dates, Exam Pattern, Eligibility, Application Fee

The Bharath University Engineering Entrance Exam (BEEE) is conducted by the Bharath University for enrolling students to courses in various branches of engineering, technology & management at the undergraduate level & postgraduate level.

Last date for receiving completed Application form: 1st week of May 2012

BEEE 2012 Exam Pattern

1. The BEEE 2012 paper would consist of 4 sections each having 25 questions: Physics (25 marks), Chemistry (25 marks), Mathematics / Biology (25 marks) & General Knowledge or Aptitude (25 marks).
2. All the questions in the entrance test are objective type with 4 options. You have to choose the correct option out of the four.
3. The duration of BEEE 2012 will be 3 hours.
4. The medium of all the instructions as well as questions is English.

BEEE 2012 Courses

The courses for which you can apply by taking BEEE 2012 are:

1. Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech)
2. Master of Technology (M. Tech)
3. Master of Business Administration (MBA)
4. Master of Computer Aplications (MCA)

Note: Candidates with GATE scores are exempted from taking BEEE 2012.

BEEE 2012 Eligibility Criteria

1. A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 60 % of marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology ( PCM / PCB ). * A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with 50 % average marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology ( PCM / PCB ) for Candidates belonging to SC / ST.
2. Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics ( PCB ) candidates are eligible for all the Programs.
3. Physics, Chemistry & Biology ( PCB ) candidates are eligible only for B.Tech, Bioinformatics, Bio – Medical Engineering & Industrial Biotechnology, Bio – Engineering programs.
4. Candidates appearing for the 10+2 examination in March / April, 2012 are also eligible to apply.
5. For Lateral Entry : A pass in Diploma / B.Sc ( Science Group Only ).

BEEE 2012 Application Fee

The application form and prospectus can be obtained in person from the University admission office/corporate office on payment of Rs 750/- .

The application form and prospectus can be obtained by post, on payment of Rs 800/- by DD drawn in favour of ‘Bharath University’ payable at Chennai

For top ranks in +2 exam | Physically challenged students | Wards of Ex-servicemen | Sportspersons | Students hailing from Jammu & Kashmir and from the North East.
