Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL) To Recruit Management Trainee Through GATE 2015

BPCL is a fortune 500 company in the energy sector. The company is involved in refining, marketing and distribution of petroleum products and also in exploration of Oil/Gas. As one of india’s largest corporations, BPCL has invited applications from engineering graduates who are appearing for GATE 2015 to work as management trainees for a year.

Candidates in the field of Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Civil and Instrumentation Engineering can apply for the post of ‘Management Teainee’ on the basis of GATE 2015 scores.

Selection process for BPCL recruitment

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE 2015 scores in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical and Instrumentation Discipline. The shortlisted candidates then have to sit for Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. The final selection will be based on medical fitness in pre-employment medical examination.

Training and Placement

• Candidates selected as ‘Management Trainee’ would be normally on probation for one year and on successful completion of probationary period, would be confirmed as ‘Executive’ in the respective business unit/entity.
• Candidates can be posted across the country in any of the businesses/locations or offices including joint ventures & subsidiary companies of BPCL currently in existence and establishments that may be set up in future besides roles on deputation to other organisations.
• The work profile entails operations and sales in the marketing function and in the process & engineering roles in the refineries.
