About BBNL

BBNL stands for Bharat Broadband Network Limited, which is established under the Companies Act by the Government of India, as a Special Purpose Vehicle. It is required to make the National Optical Fiber Network (NOFN) in India. BBNL has recently released the official notification regarding its PSU recruitment through GATE 2022, for the post of Executive Trainee.

Education qualification:

Candidates interested in applying for BBNL recruitment through GATE 2022, should be B.E. / B.Tech./B.Sc (Engg.) graduates from a recognised university/ institution, in the following disciplines:

•  Electronics & Communication
•  Computer Science
•  Information Technology
•   Electrical / Electrical & Electronics.

Candidates who are in their final year of graduation and are awaiting their results, and will have their results by 27th August, 2022, are also eligible to apply for BBNL recruitment through GATE 2022. 

Age Limit:

Age should be at least 21 years and not more than 27 years as on 15th January, 2022.
Age relaxation is applicable for OBC (NCL) candidates of 3 years, and for SC/ ST its 5 years.
However, candidates belonging to any of the reserved categories must present their caste certificates at the time of interview or whenever called upon to do so.

Application Process for BBNL Recruitment through GATE 2022

To apply for BBNL PSU recruitment through GATE 2022, students first need to register themselves for the GATE 2022 exam in Electronics/ Communication/ Computer Science & Information Technology/ Electrical Engineering.

The application window for BBNL recruitment through GATE 2022 will be open on the website from 15th January, 2022 onwards to 27th February, 2022.
Interested applicants will need to register and fill the application form on the BBNL website with all the correct information of their GATE 2022 registration.

Candidates would be required to provide their GATE admit card and the original score card of GATE 2022, in case of verification during the interview or joining.

Selection Procedure for BBNL recruitment through GATE 2022

Interested candidates must appear for GATE 2022 exam, and secure the qualifying and valid marks (out of 100).

Once the candidates have secured a valid GATE 2022 score, they shall be eligible to proceed to the next stage of the selection. The score will only be considered valid, once the candidate has scored more or at least equal to the qualifying marks as fixed for the relevant papers of GATE 2022.

Post the GATE score, candidates will be shortlisted for the personal interview round, category wise.

GATE 2022 score will hold a 75% relevance in selection, and the personal interview holds 25% relevance in the selection procedure.

Salary Structure for BBNL Recruitment through GATE 2022

Candidates who are selected will be paid in the pay scale of INR 16,400- 3%- 40,500/- at the post of Executive Trainee. Candidates will be on a probation period of one year from the day of their appointment. If candidates complete their probation period with success, then they shall be re appointed as Assistant Manager.
