Basketball Tournament at Bharat Institute of Technology, Meerut

Basketball is a sport played by two teams of five players on a rectangular court. The objective is to shoot a ball through a hoop 18 inches (46 cm) in diameter and 10 feet (3.0 m) high mounted to a backboard at each end. Basketball is one of the world's most popular and widely viewed sports.

Feeling the same spirit Bharat Institute of Technology, Meerut organized a Basket Ball Tournament on September 21, 2103.

1st round of tournament was between Civil and ECE department of Engineering and ECE was the winner. Other matches were played between Chemical v/s IT where Chemical department was the winner. Like that in the match between Mechanical v/s EN team winner was Mechanical department.

College has decided to organize semifinal and final match on October 5, 2013 between CS v/s EC departments.

All students are eagerly waiting for the tournament as it is believed to be the most excited one.

Bharat Institute of Technology, Meerut was established in 2003 under Maharana Pratap Charitable Trust, Bhiwani. Major facilities are library, hostel etc. It is one of the leading Professional Institutes in Meerut.
