Assam government is conducting a Joint Admission Test (JAT) B.Tech for admitting candidates to the various engineering colleges of the state every year.
Students for all the Engineering Colleges, Medical Colleges, Regional Dental College and Ayurvedic College of the State of Assam and NIT (Assam state quota) are selected through JAT Assam.
Every year the time and venue of the entrance is notified by the Director of Technical Education in Assam Gazette and other newspapers as well.
