About Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV):

Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Madhya Pradesh was established in the year 1998, by Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Act 13, 1998. The institution has around 5 UTD's, 217 affiliated Engineering Colleges, 95 Pharmacy Colleges, 88 MCA Colleges and 4 ArchitectureColleges imparting Graduate level instructions running around 17 under graduate level courses, 85 Polytechnic institutions offering diploma courses in emerging and conventional disciplines under its umbrella. Situated amidst an aesthetic and hilly surrounding, the University is now offering Ph Ds too.

RGPV recently invited application for its dual five years degree programme offering BE and M Tech/MBA. Interested candidates have to appear for an eligibility test which will be held at national level on 28th April 2013. Interested candidates can apply before 10th April 2013.

Important things while applying for RNET 2013 for BE and M Tech/MBA:

• You should have passed 10+ 2 or equivalent examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education MP or any other recognised Board in first division or equivalents grade, securing pass marks separately in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
• After submission of online application form, request for change of entries, will not be accepted. Incorrectly filled application forms are liable to be rejected.
• The name of the candidate entered in the application form, must be the same as given in the mark sheet of the qualifying examination. Any discrepancies in the name should be authenticated by the competent authority.
• The examination fee for Unreserved (UR) & Other Backword Class (OBC) candidates is Rs 1000 while for candidates belonging to Schedule Cast (SC) and Schedule Tribe (ST) categories of Madhya Pradesh domicile is Rs 600. The examination fee is to be submitted by taking the print out of the application form and by submitting the challan form to any branch of Punjab National Bank.
• Retain a photocopy of the completed application form with you.
• Choice of engineering discipline, category, and examination centre once entered in the online RNET application form will not be changed after the examination. BE CAREFUL on filling these data.
• After filling the RNET 2013 examination form, get the print out. This print out will have details of data you have entered and two parts of the Punjab National Bank challan form.
• Fill up the challan form and deposit the examination fee to any branch of Punjab National Bank retaining upper part of the challan form intact with the application detail. Send the upper part of the form to RAJIV GANDHI ROUDYOGIKI VISHVAVIDYALAYA, (State Technological University of Madhya Pradesh), Airport Road, Gandhi Nagar Bhopal – 462036.

Documents to be enclosed with RNET application form:

• Completed Application Form with your and parent / guardian's signature.
• Your colour photograph (of size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) affixed on application appropriately.
• Attested copy of 10th class certifiate for Date of Birth.
• Attested copy of category certificate if you belong to SC/ST/OBC.
• Attested copy of MP domicile certifiacte in case of SC/ST/OBC category.
• Send your application form to the RGPV as mentioned on the address slip of the online RNET 2013 application form.
