AP PGECET 2016: Exam to be Held in Offline Mode

Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET 2022) which is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education is now going to be held in offline mode. The application forms were released in March and the test is due from 25th to 27th May 2022. Initially, the exam was to be conducted online, but now will be offline and pen-paper based.

The AP PGECET is held for admission into regular post-graduation courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy (ME/M.Tech./M.Pharmacy) and graduate level Pharm-D. This anonymous decision to make it an offline-based test was taken after discussions between the state government and private institutions. The decision for this change is primarily based on the unavailability of proper infrastructure for online-based tests.

Regional Centres and AP PGECET pattern-

The test will be conducted in six regions that include Vishakhapatnam, Kakinada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Tirupathi and Ananthpuram.

This examination will consist of 120 questions and the duration of the exam will be  of 2 hours. The paper will be objective type with multiple-choice answers. Students will be given OMR sheets to fill in the answer sheet along with the question booklet. Answers will have to be marked on the OMR sheet according to the questions given.

The hall tickets for AP PGECET 2022 will be available online from 19th to 21st May, 2022.

AP PGECET 2022 Results

Results of the examination will be announced tentatively in the last week of June 2022 on the official website of the exam. The results will behold rank cards that the candidates will be required to download for further procedures. The seats will be allotted to the candidates as per their merit/rank. The counselling process will start right after the declaration of the results.
