National Entrance cum- Eligibility Test or NEET
NEET is an entrance exam in India for students who wish to study any course in medical (graduation or post-graduation) in government or private medical colleges. The proposal for NEET was first given in the year 2012 but due to several reasons, the CBSE and Medical Council of India postponed NEET by a year.
The examination has crashed several times over the last four years and it was declared illegal and unconstitutional by the Supreme Court of India in 2013. However, it was brought back on April 11 2022, when a five-judge constitution bench recalled the earlier verdict.
The future of NEET is still questionable until the court decides its validity. For more information about AP EAMCET, stay connected.
