Delhi University will conduct its cultural fest Antardhavani 2014 from February 14-16, 2014. Apart from other cultural activities this time some new events are there to add a flavour. An exclusive one is ‘A Legend: Sound and Light Show of DU’.
The Lodge has been a witnessed to historic event of India since freedom movement. Among them 1857 uprising, the Gandhi-Irwin pact, the trial of Bhagat Singh are remarkable one.
Since its inception in 1922, DU grew rapidly and has become today the first ranking University of the country. It is a legend and it makes legends under this. But the journey of Viceregel Lodge to the permanent office of DU and what makes it an inseparable part of the University always attracts the scholars.
So, come and explore the silent history of DU and Viceregel Lodge in an attractive way at the first ever sound and light show of the University.
Show timings are 6.30 pm, 7.30 pm, 8.30 pm and 9.30 pm. Duration of the show will be of 35 minutes.
Venue: Opposite the Viceregal Lodge in the Nehru Rose Vatika, Entry from the Mughal Garden and the main gate of the University of Delhi Gate no 1 and 2.
Since it is a show for teachers and students, there will be no fee for the show, no entry pass and no formal invitation.
