Announcement to launch a new course at DTU for academic session 2013-14

Delhi School of Management, DTU proposes to start a Five Year B. Tech. – MBA Dual Degree Programme from the academic session 2013-14.

Introducing a new course to their bouquet is the next step for providing world class education.

The program will cater to the needs of the students of DTU who aspire to do B. Tech for gaining technical knowledge and augment this with managerial knowledge by pursing MBA in post graduation.

By integrating both the degree in this programme, it will provide the students of DTU an opportunity to finish these two degrees within five years which, if done separately, will take minimum six years.

The programme shall be of five years duration spread over ten semesters.
 

Eligibility criteria to take admission for these courses at DTU:

• Successful completion of all papers in all the four semesters in regular B. Tech courses at DTU 

Admission procedure:

Admission will be made on the basis of merit based on all the four semester results. No exit option will be available to the students after submitting their willingness to join the program.

Student admitted to the program will be offered a minimum of two courses in Management discipline in every semester starting from 5th semester of their B. Tech-MBA Programme. In the 9th and 10th semester of B. Tech-MBA Dual Degree Programme, the students are required to take 7 and 6 courses respectively which, inter-alia includes courses from major and minor specializations.
