AMIETE 2011: Enrollment Dates

The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) will be conducting  AMIETE (Associate Membership of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers) (Degree Level) & DIPETE (Diploma Level) exams in the following streams :

Electronics & Telecommunications
Computer Science & Engineering
Information Technology (Degree level only)


Important Dates

The exams are conducted twice a year. The enrolment is open throughout the year but to be eligible to appear in the following examinations, the last dates for enrolment are:
June 2011 examination             : 28/29 February 2011
December 2011 examination     : 31 August 2011

How to enroll?

Enrolment form is contained in the Booklet of Regulations and Syllabi. These booklets can be obtained by sending a demand draft of Rs.250/- in favour of Secretary General, IETE payble at New Delhi or can also be obtained by paying Rs 250/-in cash at the reception counter of IETE HQ or the nearest centre of IETE. The enrollment form can also be downloaded from IETE website. However students are required to send DD of Rs 250/- along with the application form which is downloaded from the web.

Student membership form is to be filled and sent to IETE HQ along with a draft of Rs. 5000/- towards enrolment fee (in favour of Secretary General, IETE payble at New Delhi) along with requisite documents to IETE HQ.

Every application for enrolment must be attached with attested copies of the following documents:-
(a)    Matriculation certificate.
(b)    Certificates of Education.
(c)    Certificate of experience.
(d)    Bank Draft for Rs 5000/-(Rs.5250/- for downloaded form).
(e)    Two passport size photographs.


Eligibility Criteria for enrolling for AMIETE:

You should have passed 10+2 exam with PCM or should have done Diploma in Engineering including DipIETE and should not be less than 16 years age.

Eligibility Criteria for enrolling for DipETE: 

You should have passed 10th exam with Science & Maths and should not be less than 14 years age.
