Ambedkar University Delhi Releases First Cut Off 2016, Demands 100% for Five Subjects

Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has released the first cut off list for admission to various undergraduate courses. And in AUD too, candidates needed higher percentage to secure a seat in the course of their choice. Unlike the DU cut off list for admission this year, Ambedkar University Delhi asked candidates to have 100 percent in five subjects.

AUD witnessed 173.85 percent increase in the number of applications for admission into various streams/subjects for the academic session 2022-17. AUD’s list complete with name of students was based on the cut off criteria as per which the university asks perfect scores in all the arts subjects for commerce and science students who want to change their streams. 

The AUD cut off list offered some relief to Delhi NCR region students who wanted to take admission in courses they have already studied at the school level. The reason being, cut offs are two percent less than what DU demanded in the second cut off list. Candidates who want to take admission in BA (Hons) Economics or Maths, the cut off for NCT students is between 89 percent and 94 percent.

Continuing the trend which is evident for the last couple of years, AUD has received a huge number of applications for admission to courses like sociology and psychology. The AUD cut off list for NCT students this year has been set between 93 percent and 98 percent for BA (H) Psychology and 95 percent and 100 percent for BA (H) Sociology.
