Alumni Meet at IIT Delhi in December 2013

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi hold Alumni Day once in a year to welcome all the alumni (from all batches) to the campus to give them a chance to meet with the Director and other members of the Institute administration to get a feel for where the Institute is and what are the plans for the future.

This year, the Alumni Day will be held on December 29, 2013 and institute is looking forward all of yours active participation to make it a success
Come and meet with faculty members who might have taught you and, of course more than anything else, meet with fellow alumni from your and other batches.

Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi is one of the pioneer institutions in terms of providing technical education.

IIT Delhi is located in Hauz Khas, South Delhi. The campus of 325 acres is surrounded by the beautiful Hauz Khas area and monuments such as the Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple. The campus is also close to other educational institutions such as the Jawaharlal Nehru University, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, National Institute of Fashion Technology, National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and Indian Statistical Institute.

Undergraduate-cum-postgraduate dual programs

 Dual degree B. Tech-cum-M. Tech program offered in following areas:

• Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology

• Chemical Engineering

• Computer Science and Engineering, and

• Electrical Engineering

• Mathematics and Computing (Integrated M. Tech)

The admission to these programs is done through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) which is organized by all the seven Indian Institutes of Technology jointly. Lakhs of students take this exam every year with only few thousands of them actually crossing the bridge.
