Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science conducts a competitive entrance examination for students aspiring to pursue a career in Architecture.

Eligible for courses
Candidates will be eligible for B.Arch/B.Tech courses.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates for admission to the B.E/ B.Tech degree programme should have passed the Higher Secondary examination (12th) Curriculum (Academic Stream) prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry or equivalent.

(Improvement marks will not be considered for admission)

About the exam
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.

Eligible for courses
Taking NATA makes you eligible for B.Arch. courses.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates having 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with mathematics as one of the subject only are eligible for admission to B.Arch. course.

Important Dates
NATA shall start from March 15th, 2013 and can be given on any working day till August 31st, 2013.

• PMUET -(Periyar Maniammai University Entrance Test)

About the exam
PMUET is conducted every year for students who want to take admission in bachelor’s course in Architecture for 5 years.

PMUET makes you eligible for B.Arch courses.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate who wants to take up the entrance test PMUET 2012 must have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria as per the UGC norms.
• For B. Arch programs: Candidate should have passed in 10+2 or equivalent exam with minimum of 50% marks from recognized board of examination.

About the exam
Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) offers admission in Master programmes for the year 2013.

Eligible for courses
TANCET makes you eligible for B.Arch courses.

Eligibility Criteria

• Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
• Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
• Entrance Test Fee in the form of Demand Draft
• An attested copy of the permanent community certificate (card format, if online mode for registration) issued by the competent authority of Government of Tamil Nadu (for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu).
