AIPMT 2015: Results on June 5, 2015

The results for the All India Pre- medical/ Pre Dental Test 2015 will be declared on June 5, 2015. Candidates who had appeared for AIPMT 2015 can check their results on the official website of AIPMT. They can also check their results on the link given below.

AIPMT Results 2015

AIPMT 2015 was conducted on May 3, 2015. It was a 3 hour long examination with a total of 180 questions. The paper was divided into three sections- Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botony and Zoology). There was a choice of appearing for the examination in either English or Hindi.

CBSE conducts AIPMT every year for granting admissions in to the medical and dental courses in universities across the country. AIPMT offers 15 percent merit positions in medical and dental colleges all over India. The AIPMT merit list is also used by a number of state governments, universities and institutions that participate in this examination for admission into the medical and dental colleges against the seats under the respective state's control.

Once the results are announced the eligible candidates will have to attend a counselling session conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). Those who opt for the state governed institutions will have to appear for a counselling session conducted by the concerned state university authorities. Approximately 2,200 MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) seats and 300 BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) seats are expected to be filled through this exam this year.
