AIPGMEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria - The National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts the All India Post Graduate Medication Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) for students to pursue higher education in the field of medicine. The exam is conducted once a year for admissions in MD, MS and PG Diploma courses offered by various government and privates medical colleges in India.
Before the aspirants start filling the application forms, they must go through the AIPGMEE 2022 eligibility criteria in order to know whether they can apply or not.
To appear for AIPGMEE 2022, a candidate must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
- Must be an Indian Citizen.
- Should have an MBBS degree or equivalent from a recognised university.
- Should have completed the MBBS degree and the compulsory rotating internship by the last week of October 2022.
- Those who are still doing the rotating internship and will complete it by March 2022 can also apply.
- They shall not be eligible for admissions until they complete the internship/practice training.
- Those who belong to Jammu & Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are not eligible to apply.
- Those candidates who were selected by the Govt. of India to do MBBS from J&K, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are eligible to apply.
- Those who have completed the MBBS degree from colleges that are not recognised by Medical Council of India are not eligible to apply.
AIPGMEE 2022 is scheduled to be held in the first week of December 2022 at various centres across the country. Close to 5500 MS, MD and PG Diploma course seats will be open for admission under the 50% All India quota scheme.
