AIEEE 2011 results declared

The results of the 9^th All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) was declared yesterday (5^th June 2011). The exam was conducted by CBSE in 1623 centres located in 86 cities and was taken by more than 10 lakh students across the country.

AIEEE scores are used by National Institutes of Technology, IIITs, Deemed Universities, Technical Institutions, Delhi Technological University, Delhi and other Govt. funded Institutions for admission to 26816 seats for BE/B.Tech & 936 seats for B.Arch/B.Planning.

States and institutes like West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Punjab University, Chandigarh, Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, Delhi Technological University, Delhi and N.S.I.T, Delhi under Delhi University also use AIEEE ranks for their own counseling.
