AIDS Awareness Campaign at Cybotech Campus, Patna

On the occasion of ‘World AIDS Awareness Day’, Cybotech Campus, a leading College of IT & Management, in association with Lions Club of Patliputra Ashok, Distt 322E, an International Service Organization organized an AIDS Awareness Campaign on December 1, 2013 at Cybotech Tower.

The awareness Program started with writing Message on Message Board. All students and guest were pinned by Red Ribbon (NACO Symbol).Students started distributing Handbill about AIDS Prevention to all. Awareness Skit was played by MBA 1st semester Students namely Prabhat, Ramesh, Kiran, Sushmita, Bhawana, Jacynath, Hussain, Manisha and Ravi. The message was clear “Prevention is the Only Cure.”Banner Presentation was held among students.

Banner informing about this deadly disease was displayed and message of this Year “Getting Zero” was the highlight of the banner presentation.
Representatives from Muktaa Charitable Foundation working against this deadly disease in Bihar also informed the students about this disease and its prevention. They also informed the students about their “Free Helpline”. Lion President Ln. Seema Kumar and Lion PRO & Academic Head Cybotech Campus Ln. Renuka Yashaswee,Ln. Rita Keshri and Ln. Indira Tiwari graced this occasion. Ln. Dr. Amulya Kumar Singh shared his views on this occasion, he thanked Cybotech Campus for organizing this awareness campaign for last 12 Years in association with Lions Club of Patliputra Ashok. He highlighted the way of prevention against this deadly disease. He also requested the society in not to discriminate the patients.

Vice President and Committee Chairperson Abhijit Kumar highlighted the importance of this day and meaning of “Getting Zero”. On this occasion Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, Vice President thanked students, faculties and members of Lions Club for joining the hands.

Later Students and Lion Members formed “Human Chain” with banners across the Boring Patliputra Road at Cybotech Tower and lighted candles awakening the society at large about this deadly disease.
