Admissions in most of the colleges of DU are already done

Delhi University (DU) released the fourth cut-off list for admission to its four-year undergraduate programme, even though admission for a majority of the courses in the colleges closed.

The cut-off for Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in Computer Science at Hans Raj College for students who did not study science in Class 12 is still as high as 99 percent.

Due to the heavy turnout of the students in Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) programs, the cut off for Science courses such as Botany, Zoology and slightly more than expected reduction in cut off for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry lighted hopes among students. Though most seats for general quota in top colleges in popular branches like computer Sciences, mechanical and electrical have filled.

Colleges like Acharya Nar. Dev College, ARSD, Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, Daulat Ram College etc have closed admission for B. Tech in various subjects. Colleges which are open admission for B. Tech, having high cut off up to 98-99%.

Some colleges offer 3% relaxation for girls in cut off. SC/STs candidates are getting relaxation in cut off marks while on the other hand general category have to struggle due to hike in cut offs. It has become very tough to get admission in DU.
