Admission to Tourism Courses at IGNOU Now Open

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has begun admission to various courses in tourism management and studies.

Courses Offered:

1) Master of Arts in Tourism Management (MTM),
2) Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Studies (BTS),
3) Certificate in Tourism Studies (CTS)
4) Diploma in Tourism Studies (DTS).

The Master's level programme is aimed at professionals intending to pursue a career in the tourism industry or providing tourism-related services through their own enterprise.

The varsity also offers research-based programmes to help individuals associated with the tourism industry update their knowledge and skills.

"The course content for the diploma programme includes a foundation course in tourism; tourism development: products, operations and case studies; tourism management; and a project work," the statement added.

Important Date: 

The last date to apply for all the tourism programmes is 30th July, 2012.
