Admission test to NIT, Patna for various courses is on June 21,

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Patna has invited applications for 2013 admission in M. Tech/ Dual M. Tech/ Ph. D courses.

Last date for online application was May 25, 2013.

Admission will be based on written test scheduled on June 21, 2013. Students selected in written test, will have to appear in personal interview scheduled on June 22 & 23, 2013.

The National Institute of Technology Patna is the 18th National Institute of Technology, created by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India on January 28, 2004. Its origin can be traced way back to 1886 with establishment of a Survey Training School and subsequent elevation to Bihar School of Engineering, Patna in 1900. Graduate level curriculum was introduced in 1924. It was renamed as Bihar College of Engineering Patna in 1932.

Admission to NIT, Patna is based on CAT/MAT score followed by written test conducted by the institute.
