Admission to Pune University for Courses in MCA & M. Sc 2012

One of the premier universities in India, University of Pune was established on 10th February, 1948 under the Poona University Act. Spread over 411 acres approximately, the university houses 46 academic departments, spanning about 307 recognized research institutes and 612 affiliated colleges offering graduate and under-graduate courses. Considered one of the finest and most popular educational centres in India, the University of Pune offers excellent programmes in various fields  like Science, Commerce, Arts, Languages and Management Studies and probably that is why it is fondly known as the ‘Oxford of the East’.

Eligibility Criteria

• For M.C.A: Any Science Graduate (including B.C.A. under Science Faculty) with Mathematics at 10+2 Level.
• For M.Sc. (Computer Science): Bachelors Degree in Computer Science.

Documents Required

• Copy of an Application form duly signed by the candidate
• Demand Draft
• Attested copy of Domicile Certificate (for candidates with Maharashtra domicile). If an applicant does not have a domicile certificate but has passed S.S.C. and H.S.C. from the state of Maharashtra, then he/she should submit the attested copies of mark list/passing certificate of S.S.C. and H.S.C
• Attested copy of the caste/tribe certificate and/or a valid non-creamy layer certificate (if applicable/available)

Note: You need to super scribe the envelope by 'APPLICATION FORM - M.Sc./M.C.A.'

For general category student: Rs. 575/-
For Reserved Category Student (In Maharashtra): Rs. 475/-

The Application Fee has to be paid through Demand Draft of a Nationalised Bank only, drawn in favour of ‘The Registrar, University of Pune’, payable at Pune.

Please mention your name and application form number (which you will receive after submitting the online application form with details) at the back of the Demand Draft.
