Admission Notice by Central Universities Common Entrance Test

The Participating Universities, known as PUs, of the consortium of 8 Central Universities, Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Kashmir, Kerala, Rajasthan, Punjab and Tamil Nadu, which were established by an act of Parliament in the year 2009, will conduct a common entrance exam for admission to their different courses.

Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) is the coordinating university for the exam. Students with a bright academic record are invited to apply for the entrance exam and pursue various courses at the Participating Universities.

The entrance exam known as the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) 2015 will be conducted on June 6 & 7, 2015 at different test centres across states.

• UG and Integrated Programmes- 40 courses
• PG, B.Ed, Integrated MSc. B.Ed, PG Diploma- 154 courses
• M. Phil and/or PhD Research Programmes- 73 courses

Reservation for seats:

The reservation policies are as per the guidelines of UGC/GOI for the SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.

Application Process:

Applicants need to apply online only through CUCET-2015 website- www.cucet2015co.in. Form filling information and details are provided on the website itself. The Hall tickets will also be available on the site.

Eligibility:

Each PU will have their own specific eligibility criterion for their different courses hence, the applicants are recommended to check them thoroughly before applying and adhere to them as well as the universities have the right to forfeit the admission in case the eligibility is not met by the candidate.
