Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) is a medical degree in India, conferred to those who have studied the integrated system of modern medicine and traditional Ayurveda. The degree is of 5.5 years duration, including 1 year internship. Exams are held after every 3 terms. A person with a BAMS degree can practice anywhere in India.
Application Procedure
- Students can obtain the application form along with the bulletin from the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines, 6th floor, V.P. Chest institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi- 110007, and from the office of the Principal, A&U, Tibbia College, Karol Bagh, New Delhi against a Bank Draft/Banker‘s Cheque of Rs.750/- (By Hand) (Rs Seven Hundred Fifty only) for General / OBC Categories & Rs.550/- (By Hand) (Rs Five Hundred Fifty Only)
- SC / ST / PH category students can collect it between 10:00 a.m to 05:00 p.m on all seven (07) days from 15th October, 2011 to 25th October, 2011 drawn for any Nationalised Bank in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi.
- Students can also download the application form from the university website of BAMS or the Delhi University official website and submit it with the DD and documents as required addressed to the Deputy Registrar in the address mentioned above.
