Admission notice for Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar basis JEE scores

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology invites applications of various courses for 2013-14 session. Eligible candidates can apply with their candidature. Selection will be based on Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) rank. JEE is a national level eligibility test for the candidates aspiring for admission to the Undergraduate programme in NITs (National Institute of Technology), IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) and other central and state government funded institutes.

JEE (Main) was conducted in April 2013 and had lakhs of takers. Candidates can refer to the cut-off list which will be declared by the college soon to see if they have made it through or not. Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo counseling before taking admission in Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology.

About the Institute

Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology was established in the year 1987 as Regional Engineering College and was given the status of National Institute of Technology (Deemed University) by the Government of India on October 17, 2002 under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development. As one of the National Institutes of Technology (NIT), the Institute has the responsibility of providing high quality education in Engineering, Technology and Sciences to produce competent technical and scientific manpower for the country. The Institute offers B Tech, M Tech, M Sc & Ph D programmes in the several disciplines of engineering, technology and Sciences.
