Admission Alert for Engineering in Rajasthan

The Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan has announced that the Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET) - 2011 for admission to undergraduate programmes in different disciplines of Engineering (B Tech/ B.E) (for academic session 2011 – 2012) will be conducted on May 19, 2011.

Eligibility

Class XII pass with a minimum 50% marks with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and chemistry, biotechnology, computer science and biology as optional subjects. Students appearing for the qualifying examination (10+2) in 2011 are also eligible to apply.

The students whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1986 can apply for the exam. There is a further relaxation for Sc/ ST and physically disabled students by 5 years.

The brochure and application form is available across various branches of UCO Bank and in Govt. Polytechnic College, Banswara and Govt. Engineering College, Jhalawar. The last date for the sale and submission of application forms is April 9, 2011.
