Finally, college began. The suspense about how college life would be has now ended. The orientation was marked by Principal's speech over all the colleges, peppered with phrases and consolations about how our batch is not guinea pig batch but rather a very fortunate one, that we are a part of a revolutionary batch etc etc. This was followed by a stroll around the respective college campuses. One thing that remains uniform throughut is the time table or class schedule which makes us shudder at the mere thought of having to attend six classes at length, with just a lunch break. It feels more like school than school itself. Here's a photo essay that describes how I spent my first two days exploring the college.
This is how we were strolling, searching for rooms and classes, with the fear of not being late to the first class itself!
How could have I missed the inevitable exploration of the college library? So, I rummaged thorugh a few books, and managed to find the books For my subject, all classifies in this three-storey library. and, oh yes the fiction section, too!
Next on the list of things to do was finding places to spend free time between classes. And with such splendid parks, it was a spectacular view!
So, we have finally started with our journey, and are ready to get embedded in the matrix that college life is.
