KIIT University organized its 9th annual convocation on November 16, 2013.
Around 2769 students of 2012-13 graduating batch of KIIT University received their degrees on convocation day. University was graced with the presence of President of Republic of Mauritius Rajkeswur Purryag and Nobel Laureate Prof. Oliver Smithies.

• Sarbajit Paul, B. Tech (EE) for all round performance in the whole University across the entire Programme
• Kanad Bagchi, BBA LLB (School of Law) for all round performance in the whole University across the entire Programme
• Priya Rahul, M. Tech (ETC) for securing highest CGPA in the whole University across all the Post Graduate courses
• Arnab Ray, B. Tech (ETC) for securing highest CGPA in the whole University across all the Under Graduate courses
