4 years Maths IT Degree in Delhi University

The degree will be provided on Mathematics and Information Communication Technology (ICT) and will be interdisciplinary as well. The curriculum for the same has been developed, while the modalities of admission and faculty are underway.

The course will open horizons for students in terms of careers. Those pursuing this course can opt for research, engineering, signal processing and electronics & computer science. A key attraction of this course will be numerous projects connected with the industry to provide hands-on knowledge and experience to the students.

If the course secures the clearance, it will flag off the "innovation cluster" being planned by DU. The cluster will also create awareness on the importance of innovation, besides running this course. This will also give an impetus to young teachers, as DU wants the cluster to be mainly driven by young college teachers, after approval from the Executive Council and Academic Council.
