The Department of Physics, St. Xavier's College, Kolkata is conducting the 3rd Father Verstraeten Memorial Lecture on 28th August 2015.
The theme of the lecture is ‘The Surprising Story of Random Walks’. Speakers from Tata Institute of Fundamnetal Research will be gracing the occasion with their presence.

Fr. Achilles Verstraeten, SJ was an eminent physicist who taught at St. Xavier's College for many years.
