University of Petroleum and Energy Studies in collaboration with the Institution of Engineers, Dehradun will organize a 27th national convention of Aerospace Engineers & national seminar on November 8 & 9, 2013
Seminar will be on “Technological and Engineering Challenges in Indian Aerospace Industry”
This convention aims to contribute to enrich and develop a panorama of futuristic aerospace technologies and attain a level of stature among the Aeronautical and Aerospace fraternity of India. The main objective of the Convention is to discuss the recent advances and success in Aerospace
Engineering in both Civil and Defence sectors and how to face future challenges.
The programme of the National Seminar will consist of Inaugural Session, Six Technical Sessions, Panel Discussion and Valedictory Session. Dr Vikram Sarabhai Memorial Lecture and State-of-Art Lecture will be delivered by eminent experts from the interdisciplinary fields of Aerospace Engineering. Experts from industries and academia, Defence organizations, R & D are being approached to deliver Invited Lectures broadly based on the theme and following sub-themes. Besides the invited talks, a limited number of selected technical papers are planned for presentation at the Convention.

Technical papers relevant to the theme and sub-themes are invited from Researchers, Field Engineers, Academia, R&D Institutions, Defence Organizations and industries. All papers after review by the Technical Committee will be published in the Technical Volume of the Convention.
Registration Fee:
• For Corporate Member of IEI: Rs. 1200/-
• Non-Member (Individual) and Delegates from Educational Institutions: Rs. 2000/-
• Sponsored Delegate from Industry / Research Organizations: Rs. 3000/-
• Technician / Engineering College Students: Rs. 800/-
Limited accommodation will be arranged for the delegates in the guest house within the university campus on payment basis and based on availability. Hotel Accommodation at Dehradun can be arranged by the organizers on request. Delegates requiring accommodation are requested to write to us well in advance along with Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Institution of Engineers (India), Uttarakhand State Centre” payable at Uttarakhand as per Hotel tariff.
