Recently University has invited applications for Ph. D and M. Sc admission of 2013. Interested candidate can submit their candidature by visit the website or by person.

Below are the eligibility criteria given separately for the both courses.

Eligibility Criteria for Ph. D at Santosh University:

• The candidates who possess degree of Master of Science/Behavioural Science in a subject allied to Bio-Medical Sciences or Master of Surgery or Master of Dental Surgery (only Dental subjects) or Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree or Diplomat of the National Board of Examinations will be eligible for Ph. D Course for all above subjects (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology and Maxillofacial Surgery)

• The candidates who possess a recognized degree of M. Sc Medical Anatomy, M. Sc Medical Physiology, M. Sc Medical Biochemistry, M. Sc Medical Microbiology & M.Sc. Medical Pharmacology will be eligible for Ph. D Medical Courses in the above respective subjects i.e. Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry , Microbiology & Pharmacology

• The candidates who posses degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree or Diplomat of the National Board of Examinations or Diploma in Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases (D.T.C.D.) or M. Sc in Biotechnology or M.Sc. Medical Microbiology or M. Sc Microbiology will be eligible for Ph. D in the Department of TB & Chest

• The candidates who possess a recognized Master Degree in Behavioural Science/Home Science/Nutrition/Master in Public Health or Allied subjects will be eligible for Ph. D in the Department of Community Medicine

• The candidates who possess a recognized Degree of MD in Psychiatry or M. Sc in Clinical Psychology or M.A. in Psychology or M. Phil in Psychology / Clinical Psychology will be eligible for Ph. D in Clinical Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry

The Selection Committee will interview the eligible candidates for Ph. D seats on September 11, 2013 (for the Departments of Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry & Microbiology) and on September 12, 2013 (for the Departments of Community Medicine, TB & Chest, Pharmacology, Psychiatry (Clinical Psychology) and Maxillofacial Surgery) at 9.00 AM in the Chamber of the Vice Chancellor, Santosh Medical College, Ghaziabad.

The Ph.D. courses will start from September 23, 2013.

Eligibility Criteria for M. Sc admission in Santosh University

• The candidates who possess degree of Bachelor of Medical Lab Technology/ B.Sc. Degree Examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Botany or Zoology with 50% Aggregate Marks as the main subjects or B.Sc. Degree in Home Science are eligible to apply for M.Sc. Medical Anatomy, Physiology & Biochemistry

• The candidates who possess degree of B.Sc. Medical Microbiology or B.Sc. Life Sciences or Bachelor of Medical Lab Technology with 50% Aggregate Marks in the above Graduation fields are eligible to apply for M.Sc. Medical Microbiology
20 seats are available in each subject of M.Sc. Medical Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry & Microbiology
