2013 Exams rescheduled at Vinoba Bhave University, Jharkhand

Vinoba Bhave University, Jharkhand had earlier scheduled its final exams for B.A/B.Sc/B.Com Part III from May 8, 2013. But due to some internal reasons, it has been rescheduled and now exams will start from May 14 and will end by May 17, 2013.

Exams are supposed to start from afternoon 1 pm and will continue till 4 pm. University has requested the students to follow decorum once entered the exam hall. As per University norms they are restricted to carry any kind of study material with them, restricted to smoke in exam premises and also requested to report to the exam hall 15 minutes prior to the scheduled paper.

Courses are divided in papers which contains different subjects i.e. Paper VII consists Honours of History, Mathematics, Bengali, Sanskrit Hindi, Urdu, English, Income Tax (Gr. A), Indian Financial System & Statement Analysis (Gr. B), Advertising and Sales Promotion (Gr. C).Paper VIII consist Geology and Journalism Honours.

About the University

Vinoba Bhave University, Jharkhand, came into existence as a teaching-cum-affiliating state university on the September 17, 1992. This university is also a member of Association of Commonwealth Universities, London. The UGC, New Delhi recognized the university and registered it under section 12B of the UGC Act 1956.

The University contains 22 Post Graduate departments including newly established Biotechnology and Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics departments, MBA, MCA and M.Ed under the nine faculties of Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce, Engineering, Homeopathy and Education.

It also proposes to introduce a number of professional courses at the Master’s level such as Masters in Geoinformatics and remote Sensing, LLB, Degree/Diploma in Physical Education and Diploma in Library Science.
