18th Annual Convocation at IMS, Ghaziabad

Institute of Management Studies Ghaziabad will conduct its 18th convocation for conferring diploma to the successful graduates of PGDM/PGDM-MM/PGDM-IT/PGDM-TM, Batch: 2011-13 on December 14, 2013 at IMS Ghaziabad.

IMS is pleased to share that laurete Shri. Javed Akhtar has already given his consent to grace the occasion as Chief Guest of the ceremony. All are cordially invited to attend the convocation to receive the diploma.

Padma shri Javed Akhtar Ji will be the Chief Guest of the convocation.

Guidelines:

• Student is required to report at the ‘Registration Desk’ located in the main campus, Lal Quan by 12:00 PM on Saturday, the December 14, 2013

• She/he is requested to send the duly filled registration form attached here with latest by November 25, 2013 at the address mentioned in the form or can also register online at www.ims-ghaziabad.ac.in/convocation2013  .

• Note that no Diploma recipients will be allowed to receive the Diploma without prior registration.

• Before coming to attend the Convocation, please ensure that students have cleared the Institute, mess and Hostel dues, if any outstanding against them and submitted all documents e.g. copies of certificates / degree(s), mark sheets and migration certificate / transfer certificate etc. in academic section failing which will not be allowed to take the diploma.

• The representative of the Robe Makers will be present at the Reception Counter on Saturday, the December 14, 2013 12:00 pm onwards. No candidate will be allowed to the Convocation Hall (IMS Auditorium), who is not in proper academic robe prescribed by the Institute. The dress code is strictly formal for this solemn occasion.

• The seat numbers will be allotted to all the Diploma holders at the registration counter. All the diploma holders are advised to take their respective seats in the Convocation hall. No Diploma holders will be allowed to take seat without the prescribed seat numbers.

• There will be a full dress rehearsal for diploma recipients on the same day, Saturday, the December 14, 2013 at 1.30 PM in the Convocation Hall. In case a diploma recipient does not attend rehearsal he/she will not be allowed to take the diploma at the Convocation function.

• In case the student unable to attend the Convocation, his/her diploma may be sent by post on receipt of a written request from the student giving latest mailing address.

• Also requested to take seat at convocation hall by 2:30 PM

Last date of registration was November 25, 2013. All registered candidates are requested to mark their presence on convocation day.
