1.5 Lakh Common Services Centres (CSC) Designated for AIPMT 2016

Candidates belonging to urban areas are well-versed with technology and are capable of submitting the application form online 24x7 quite easily. However, to provide support to candidates from rural areas, who may otherwise find it difficult to submit the online application due to any constraints, CBSE has introduced the concept of Common Services Centre (CSC).

CSCs are a strategic cornerstone under the Digital India initiatives of our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. CBSE has designated around 1.5 lakh such centres to assist AIPMT 2022 aspirants. These centres will serve the purpose of helping the candidates from rural areas with technical formalities of the exam including form filling and counselling, since all these formalities for the exam are conducted online. Hence, the Common Service Centres have been designated to assist the potential and future doctors.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination. The entrance examination is conducted in two stages. Only those who clear the preliminary exam are eligible to sit for the AIPMT final exam. Presently, 15% of the total seats in all medical and dental colleges run by the Union of India, state governments, municipal or other local authorities in India, except in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, are reserved for candidates who qualify this examination.
