Chaudhary Charan Singh University
Chaudhary Charan Singh University, formerly Meerut University, was established in 1965. The public state university is located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The University was named after the former Prime Minister of India. It has been graded 'B+' by NAAC. The vast and pollution-free campus sprawls over 222 acres of land having huge playgrounds, a botanical garden, rose garden with life-size statue of the late Prime Minister Ch. Charan Singh, Gymnasium, Indoor Stadium, Library, Hostels for the students, Auditorium, Guest House, Community Center, Medical Center, Residential Quarters, Canteen, Bank and Post office.
The university has various departments and a separate engineering college which offers courses in various branches of engineering. The university offers courses to postgraduates, undergraduates and doctoral candidates in the fields of Agricultural Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Journalism, Mass Communication and Multimedia Techniques, Earth Sciences, Teacher and Physical Education, Fine Arts, Legal Studies, Applied Sciences, Home Science, Business Studies, Geographical Information System (GIS) and Remote Censoring. Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCS) Application Process
Aspirants need to take care of the points mentioned below for applying to the courses offered by CCS University:

Students must login to the official website for accessing the application form and the brochure

Entrance Test-cum-Application Fee for the entrance test will be charged online while filling up the form through e-payment. There are no extra charges for the entrance test. For General and OBC candidates the fee is INR 700/- and for SC/ST candidates the fee is INR 500/-.

Students must take care of filling up the application form very carefully as application form incomplete in any respect will be rejected straightway. Make sure to provide a valid mobile number and e-mail ID.

Get a printout of the application form for future reference

If the applicant’s name appears in the online Merit List, he/she will be required to submit the hardcopy of the filled-up application form along with self-attested copies of all the required mark sheets, degrees, certificates, other related documents and the fee submission proof at the concerned department of the University.

Note that once the merit list is published the claim of the applicants on the previous merit list will be canceled

Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination as a private candidate then he/ she needs to furnish a certificate of good conduct from the Principal of the College or Gazetted Officer.

At the time of admission, the candidates must carry self-attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets and other documents enclosed along with the application form to get them verified.
CCS PG Admission
Contrary to UG courses, the University offers an array of PG courses to choose from. The courses are offered in various streams, namely, science, arts, social work, journalism, computer, etc. The duration of most of the postgraduate courses is 2 years. Applicants interested in taking admission must have at least 45% - 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s depending on the course they want to pursue.
For SC and ST candidates, 5% relaxation in the minimum eligibility conditions of a percentage of marks in respect of qualifying examination will be given.

Chaudhary Charan Singh University Admission 2017
Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCS), formerly known as Meerut University is located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. It is a public university established in 1965. The university has been accredited Grade ‘B’ by NAAC. The university has many degree colleges affiliated to it across Uttar Pradesh. The University offers an array of courses at UG, PG and Doctorate levels under streams like Arts, Science, Computer, Law, etc. Admission to UG courses will be based on the candidate’ s performance in 10+2 having minimum percent aggregate marks, whereas, admission to PG courses is based on the merit determined by the performance in entrance examinations.
Application Form and Brochure is available on the University’s website. The aspirants are supposed to fill in the application form and submit it before the last date of application.

CCS UG Admission
Chaudhary Charan Singh University offers very limited undergraduate courses to the aspirants to choose from. They offer 4 undergraduate programmes, namely, B.A. P.Ed., B.J.MC., B.A. Library & Information Science and B.A. L.L.B. Each programme is for a duration of 3 years except BA LLB, which is for five years.
Candidates who wish to take admission in the courses mentioned above must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria.
