Central University of Kerala

Established in the year 2009 under the Central Universities Act 2009 (Parliament Act No. 25 of 2009), the Central University of Kerala has been founded on the vision of “caring wisdom” and follows the ideals of academic and social commitment. Since it is located on a very culturally diverse land, local resources are put to judicious and the best possible global exposure and education have been provided to the students. There were about 700 student enrollments in the academic year 2014-15. It is spread across 310 acres of land which has been allocated by the Government of Kerala in the year 2012. Central University of Kerala Selection Process

On successful online application submission with online/debit card/credit card successful payment, an automated e-mail and SMS will be sent to the mail id & mobile number you have given in the application form. For online application and payment made through “Challan” you may have to wait for 7days and if you do not receive it within 07 days, you may send an email to CUCET email id queries@cucet2014.co.in.

Admissions are handled at the level of each of these seven Central Universities, for their respective programs. After the declaration of the CUCET results, the respective Central Universities will declare the counseling/admission schedule and merit list based on the weightage on CUCET score and the other criteria. The common criteria are:

  • Whether you have applied for that particular program in that University as a first choice. (If seats are available, candidates with second and third choices may also be considered).
  • Your ranking in the CUCET for that program (higher the score, better are your chances)
  • Meeting the eligibility criteria prescribed by the University. It may kindly be noted that each University offers admission to the students on merit on the basis of CUCET score and other criteria decided by it. Please see the website of the concerned University for details.

Central University of Kerala accepts applications strictly through online mode. Follow the steps below for applying to Central University of Karnataka:

  • Visit the official website of the university
  • Click on the ‘Apply’ link to go to the registration for the programme you want to pursue
  • Keep the mentioned documents handy while filling the form. The documents are: Scanned photograph, scanned signature, credit card/ net banking/ ATM Card, education related documents, address proof, etc.

Central University of Kerala (CUK) PG Admission

The university offers various postgraduate programmes in the fields of Science, Arts, Education, Law, etc. Students have the option to choose from an array of courses like M.Sc. Physics, M.Ed., M.A. in Hindi, among many others.

Central University of Kerala UG Admission

The University offers only one undergraduate programme, which is Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) specializing in International Relations. The duration of the course is three years. The aspirants need to pass 10+2 in the relevant discipline and have at least 50% marks aggregate. For taking admission, the eligible candidates need to go through CUCET – Central University Common Entrance Test.

To be eligible the student needs to pass 10+2 or equivalent in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks. The course’s duration is 3 years.

Central University of Kerala (CUK) Admission 2017

Central University of Karnataka, popularly known as CUK is one of the 15 central universities in India established under The Central Universities ACT, 2009. It is a Public University, established in 2009. The institution has been approves by UGC and accredited Grade B++ by NAAC. The main campus of the university is situated in Kasaragod, Kerala.

Central University of Kerala (CUK) offers degree programmes at the undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and doctorate level in field of Science, Arts, Social Work, Literature among many others.
