The Institute of Management', previously known as Nirma Institute of Management, is a constituent of the distinguished Nirma University.Β The Institute was established in 1996 with a view to promote excellence in management education and to prepare young men and women to meet the challenges of the developing corporate world. A constituent of Nirma University, the Institute of Management is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2 (F) of UGC Act. Hence, all the Post-graduate degree of the Institute is recognized as equivalent to the Post-graduate degree of any other Indian university.

BBA-MBA [Five Year Integrated Programme] | 2 | The candidates applying admissions under All India Category and NRI Sponsored category are required to apply and appear for the admission test UGAT (Under Graduate Aptitude Test) to be conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) on May 07, 2016 at various centers of India. In addition to UGAT application form, the candidates are also required to apply for Institute of Management, Nirma University. 3. Candidates appearing in the final year of the Bachelorβs Degree can also apply provided they furnish the proof of having met with the minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2016. Placement
The Institute facilitates the students in meeting their career aspirations by inviting various companies for campus recruitment. Computing facilities for the students include a well equipped lab. A state-of-the-art gigabit network connects every corner of the Institute.

The Library at Institute of Management houses more than 21,000 volumes of books selectively chosen for reading and reference. The collection includes resources relevant to teaching, learning, training, research and consultancy needs of the Institute.
