A teaching method includes the principles and methods used for instruction. Commonly used teaching methods may include class participation, demonstration, Case study, Role Play, business games, experiential learning, recitation, memorization, or combinations of these. The choice of teaching method or methods to be used depends largely on the information or skill that is being taught, and it may also be influenced by the aptitude and enthusiasm of the students. The key objective is to increase the retention power of the learners.

The broad objective of this Faculty Development Programme (FDP), in the form of a one week Short Term Training Programme (STTP), is to provide theoretical and practical exposure to the participants on areas like:
