MAH CET 2026 Info
MAH CET 2023 (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is conducted by the Maharashtra state government for admission to the 2 year full-time programme of MBA/MMS and PGDBM/PGDM in Government, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State. The admission to these courses (MBA/MMS) is centralized and is covered under Centralized Admission Process (CAP) carried by the Competent Authority of the State of Maharashtra. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) is the body that conducts MAH CET 2023.

MAH CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidate who wishes to apply should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45%, in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra state) in any Bachelor's degree.

Candidates in their final year of qualifying exam can also apply for provisional admission.

Candidates who have taken CAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ MAH-MBA/ MMS-CET are considered to be eligible for admission against the all India seats subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria.

MAH CET 2026 Application Details
The application forms for MAH CET 2023 will be available on the official website of DTE from 21st January, 2023 onwards. Candidates will have to fill-in the application forms online before the last date to be able to sit for the examination.
Each candidate will be allowed to submit one application only. Candidate with multiple applications will be debarred from MAH CET exam.
The process of filling-in the application form will require candidates to first register themselves and generate an Application ID No. Candidates will also be required to upload a scanned copy of candidate’s signature and photograph. The application process will be considered complete only when the application fee is paid.
The last date to fill-in online application form is 13th February 2023.

Application fees detail
The application fee for MAH CET 2023 is Rs. 1,000/- for General Category Maharashtra State, Out side Maharashtra State and J&K Migrant candidates and Rs. 800/- for Reserved Category & Physically Handicapped Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only.
MAH CET 2026 Counselling/Interview
Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra conducts four rounds of Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Students will need to fill up a separate online form for first two rounds. The third round will be conducted for the eligible Maharashtra State candidates only.
On the day of the counseling, candidate will be required to get their documents verified and inform the authorities about their choice of college.

MAH CET 2026 Exam Syllabus
The MAH CET 2023 exam question paper will consists of four different sections. Sound knowledge of the syllabus and proper preparation will help candidates to clear the exam with good score.
The paper will consists of questions based on figures, diagrams and verbal reasoning. Such questions will test the Logical & Abstract Reasoning of the candidate by judging his speed of accurate thinking.
Quantitative Aptitude section will consists of numerical questions like on percentage, ratios, charts, bar graphs, etc.
The paper will also test the candidate’s Reading & Comprehension skills with unseen passage questions.
Questions on language and grammar like synonyms, antonyms, sentence completion, vocabulary, etc will also be a part of the exam paper.
