Sinhgad Institute of Business Administration and Research constitutes one of the jewels in the crown of Sinhgad Technical Education Society. Establishes in the year 2004 this institute received approval for its various courses from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) and Government of Maharashtra & Pune University.

Placement

Sinhgad Institute of Business Administration and Research (SIBAR) has a training and placement cell which is managed by experts’ placements team. The placement team works very hard for providing placement to every student. The placement team believe that every student has something special in them and they help them to explore their strengths. SIBAR institute more emphasis on developing soft skills and communication skills of students. Placement team works on students feeble points of students and makes full effort to improve those points through industry experts, teachers. The objective of the institute is to prepare students for campus recruitment arranging training in Aptitude tests, Group discussions, preparing for Technical and HR interviews through professional trainers.

Infrastructures

SIBAR has a beautiful campus situated in Pune surrounded by greenery and water ponds. Institute has a well constructed building with spacious and airy class rooms, seminar halls, auditorium which is equipped with Hi-tech gadgets, transport, sports, computer labs with the State of the art equipment and other excellent infrastructure facility.

Classroom

To support the unique teaching learning process at SIBAR, there are two seminar halls and three syndicate rooms where the interactive sessions and the interface with the experts from the corporate world take place. These are equipped with audio visual aids like OHP, LCD, TV, VIDEO, etc.

Laboratory

SIBAR has truly world class, state-of-the-art Information Technology tools that are designed to meet the computing and communication needs of the institute. The entire architecture of over 310 computers for MBA & 190 computers for MCA, equipped with Windows XP Operating Systems, is controlled by 2 powerful servers (oneIBM 235 Xeon Servers , and Windows 2003 Server) utilizing networking and database utilities of Oracle 8i. Other than this, the labs are equipped with Laserjet / DeskJet /

Library

A total of 1800+ Management & Computer Journals and periodicals of national and international we have. The Library facility is made available to the students 15hrs a day. Library is airy and ventilated. We also subscribe all the leading daily newspapers. A separate reading hall enables students to read and study in peace. The SIBAR has E-Library Facility for students. It also have EBESCO online database journal. The labs have a well designed Network with Structured Cabling. 24x7 Intern

Not a bad college and attendance is not compulsory

The college and campus are good. The faculty is highly experienced and attendance is not compulsory if you're working. It is located in a calm area with no outside disturbance and the trees in the campus makes the environment good. If you're looking to do MBA while working, this is the best choice though the placements are average.

I would like to say if you want to get a good education which can support you further in getting recruited by any good company, you can blindly join this college. It has contacts with a lot of companies, you just need to clear the interview and give your best for the interview.

Faculty's behaviour towards student and placement

The behaviour of the faculty towards their students is very friendly and calm. The faculty is always ready to help the students. The placement process is very student friendly and the number of companies that come for placements is very huge. These two things in the college I like the most.
