Shrimati Indira Gandhi College is affiliated to Bharathidasan University and accredited by NAAC. The mission of the college is to enable students to acquire an integrated personality, endowed with Character, Culture, Compassion and Discipline and is to foster Higher Education, Upliftment of Women in Society in general and the improvement of their Economic Status and independence in particular.
