The School of Life Sciences comprises of Department of Microbiology, Department of Biotechnology and Department of Bio-informatics. Its aim is to impart and achieve globally high standards of higher education and making our students superior in terms of knowledge and skill who will inturn impart needed social and economic change with self-discipline national outlook and religions tolerance to improve the quality of mankind.

The School's infrastructure is modern with all well equipped facilities.
Laboratory
The laboratories are fully equipped with all the instruments needed with a competent faculty. Separate laboratories are provided for both UG and PG students. The department boasts of a well equipped lab consisting of latest IBM machines loaded with complete bioinformatics workbench coupled with High speed Broad Band, enabling effective use of Biological software for research purposes.
Library
Library houses a collection of 62,423 Books and 11,472 Back Volumes. It subscribes to more than 339 Periodicals ( National & International), 8100 + E-Journals, 3400 E-Books, 1718 Dissertations, 3200 CDs, DVDs and Audio – Visual resources. Our Vision is to provide world-class knowledge resources that not only cater to the curricular requirements but also provide Intellectual enquiry and Research.
