Tezpur University is situated at the city of Tezpur, Assam, India. It is one of the leading Universities in India. Tezpur University was formed by an Act of Parliament in 1994. The main aim of the University is as mentioned in its canon is to offer the education which is relevant from the global perspective. So all courses provided by the Institution are employment oriented to meet the regional to national aspirations and the development of the state of Assam. Tezpur University also offers and promotes courses in research areas which are of special and direct relevance to the region and in the emerging areas in Science and Technology. Infrastructures
The Campus has an excellent infrastructure which includes airy, Global Studies classrooms; a Global Studies stocked Library, Hi-tech Computer lab, Faculty Room and a Global Studies defined parking lot for students, faculty and visitors. Classroom
The Institute has a well equipped audio-visual classroom with state of the art equipments and includes LCD projector, Computer, Overhead projector, adequate chairs, tables etc. which helps in conducting interactive sessions and project presentations.
Laboratory
The college has well-equipped computer lab with broadband Internet connectivity and a host of other required software. There are more than 100 modern computers in the labs that facilitate in learning IT and also undertake research and data processing.
Library
The college has a well equipped and well stocked library with a rich collection of books and journals predominantly related to management and its allied subjects to meet the present and future information needs of its users. It is well equipped with periodicals, text books, study material, major dailies and popular magazines for both students and faculty.
