CMAT stands for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), which is an online exam conducted by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), India. It is a national level test which is conducted twice a year for students seeking admission in all the management programmes approved by AICTE.
The candidates who appear in CMAT (First Test) can also take the Second Test and use better of two scores for admission.

You must have a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 Yrs duration from a recognized university.

PGDM)

You are required to have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% (45% for candidate belonging to reserved category) and minimum of 5 years relevant managerial / supervisory experience.

Registration process:
 
There are two steps that can be followed to register for CMAT entrance exam:
 
Step 1. Registration-
 
You can register yourself as new user by filling up basic details on the official website of AICTE-CMAT. Make sure you enter correct details as once you entered the details, you can't edit any data enter on the register page. Once you submit all the details, a password will be sent to you via E-Mail ID and SMS.
 
Step 2. Payment-
 
You can make a payment through either of the two options i.e. online payment or cash payment in SBI bank.
 
Mode I:
 
You can do online payment by using your  Credit card / Debit card / Net Banking.
 
Mode II:
 
You can do cash payment at any of the SBI Bank. Once you select this option, a Challan will be appeared on your screen with your details already filled in it. You need to take 3 print outs of this Challan and walk in to your nearest SBI Branch with Cash next day.
 
Note: - Cash Deposit will be accepted only from the next day of your Challan Generation.
