• MBA Program:

  • General Category: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

  • Reserved Categories (SC/ST): Minimum 45% aggregate marks.

  • Final Year Students: Eligible to apply, provided they complete their degree before the counselling process. 

• MCA Program:

  • General Category: Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 or graduation level, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

  • Reserved Categories (SC/ST): Minimum 45% aggregate marks.

  • Final Year Students: Eligible to apply, provided they complete their degree before the counselling process.

  • There is no upper age limit for appearing in the AP ICET exam.

1. Visit the Official Website

Navigate to the official AP ICET website: cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ICET.

2. Fee Payment

• Initiate Payment: Click on the “Fee Payment” tab.

• Enter Details: Provide your Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, and Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number.

• Payment Options: Choose your preferred payment method (Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or AP Online).

• Payment Confirmation: After successful payment, note down the Payment Reference ID.

3. Fill the Application Form

• Access Form: Click on the “Proceed to Fill Application” link.

• Login: Enter the Payment Reference ID, Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number, Mobile Number, and Date of Birth.

• Personal Details: Fill in your Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Gender, Date of Birth, and Category.

• Contact Information: Provide your Address, Email ID, and Mobile Number.

• Academic Details: Enter information about your Qualifying Examination.

• Test Centre Preferences: Select your preferred Districts for the exam centre.

• Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your Photograph and Signature as per the specified dimensions.

4. Preview and Submit

• Review: Carefully check all the entered details.

• Submit: After verification, submit the application form.

• Print Application: Take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.

5. Application Fee

• General Category: ₹650

• Backward Classes: ₹600

• SC/ST Categories: ₹550

Late Fee Structure

If you miss the regular application deadline, you can still apply by paying a late fee (₹1,000 to ₹10,000) in addition to the standard application fee.

1. Eligibility for Counselling

• Candidates must qualify in the AP ICET 2026 exam, securing at least the minimum required marks.

• Qualified candidates will be invited to participate in the online counselling process hosted on the official APSCHE portal.

2. Stage-by-Stage Process

a. Registration & Counselling Fee

• Register online on the official counselling portal, using your hall ticket number and date of birth.

• Pay the counselling processing fee, which typically differs by category:

  • Unreserved (OC/OBC): Approx. ₹1,200

  • Reserved (SC/ST): Approx. ₹600.

b. Document Upload & Verification

• Upload required documents during registration. Commonly requested items include:

  • AP ICET hall ticket and rank card

  • Marksheets (SSC, Intermediate, Degree)

  • Caste and residence certificates (if applicable)

  • Aadhar card, local status, and income certificates

  • Special category certificates (e.g., NCC, PH, Sports).

• Documents are either verified online or through designated help centres.

c. Web Options (College & Course Selection)

• After verification, candidates choose their preferred colleges and courses in the order of priority.

• The system allows editing and saving preferences until the deadline.

• More choices enhance your seat allotment odds.

d. Seat Allotment & Result

• Seats are allotted based on:

  • Merit rank

  • Category reservation

  • Candidate preferences

• Allotment results are typically made available on the counselling portal, and candidates also receive notifications via email/SMS.

e. Reporting & Admission Confirmation

• Allotted candidates must:

  • Self-report online, following the portal instructions

  • Physically report to the allotted college with original documents for final verification, and pay the requisite admission fee to confirm the seat.

3. Counselling Phases

Counselling is usually done in phases:

• Phase 1:

  • Initial registration and seat allotment.

  • Based on Last year info, this phase begins in July.

• Final / Phase 2:

  • For remaining seat vacancies.

  • Includes registration, web options, and seat allotment again.

  • As per 2025 data, began in early September.

Important Notes

• No interviews are part of the AP ICET counselling process.

• All steps are online, except for physical reporting and document verification at the college level.

• Keep photocopies and originals of all documents ready well in advance.

• Track the counselling portal for updates on dates, fee payment, and seat allotment announcements.

Additional Insights

• Medium of Exam: Analytical and Mathematical sections may be offered in English and Telugu, while Communication is English-only.

• The syllabus framework remains consistent with previous years, so referring to AP ICET 2025 materials can be helpful.

The AP ICET 2026 will take place offline in around 25 districts of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates can choose 3 to 4 preferred test city locations while filling out their application forms. Allotment is based on availability, and no changes are allowed after the application is submitted. The specific centre address will be provided on the admit card.
